Ian, I liked last night's show about Lily's Cambridge Hat (99/05/06) - Lily should get herself a floppy velvet or velour hat for the South African winter as well!

Ian, I love your show. Wish it was longer, but perhaps it's just as well - I'd never sleep! Now, at least, as soon as I hear JCW's repeat coming on, I switch off and read my book - much more interesting. Must say I didn't
expect you to look like you do - really quite dishy. I pictured you to be small and scrawny with a mop of red hair. That's the fascinating thing about radio, one's imagination runs wild. I wonder what Annie and all your other callers look like?

No Tristan! the answer is Batman

Dear Tristan... the beauty of radio is that you can switch it off if you dont like it. You say tomato, I say wheatbix sandwiches. Cheerio.

Dear Cheryl... thanks for the criticism, one can only learn from past mistakes. yes, Ian calls me back. i've been listening to the show for the last 7 years and this is the first time i've had some constructive criticism.

Well done Timo! love the news pics!
Thabo! you sexy thing!
Annie! hope you're well!
Robert! eish m'aan. greetings!

Ian,
Looking at the archive photographs makes me nostalgic for the "old" format 702. I miss Jeremy Maggs, Amanda & Angie. Would love to hear more of YOU, Jonathan Cramp and Aki (these 2 should have their own talk shows. I simply CANNOT listen to bumbling Mathe ws, whiney O'Sullivan, boring Barry and the weekend music shows (awful especially Saturday nights!!).

I say bring back the interesting talk radio.

Regards, Janet

Dear Ian
I apologise for the letter being in Afrikaans but
I had sent it to Beeld for commentary as well!
I hope for some reaction to this statement - Louis

Meneer

storie oor hoe veilig jy moet bestuur of soos nou hoe jy moet water bespaar

Groete
Louis Taljaard

After downloading the latest version of IE5 with the radio function I found myself looking at a webpage with a choice of countries, music formats, and buttons to world wide radio stations. I eagerly selected a choice of countries from a drop down list/ menu of radio stations. South Africa stood boldly. But alas, 702 did not...
I was saddened not to find the possibility of listening to my favourite radio station (South African). So many miles away: here in Europe.
I did find another SA radio station...
Is there any hope for 702 to be "radio"-online soon ?
